It’s about more than just building washrooms
Approximately 47% of schools in India do not have separate washrooms for girls
Having a shortage of washroom facilities affects a girl’s dignity, health, and access to education. Without an education, these girls remain trapped in the cycle of poverty.
To address this need, World Vision has partnered with Superfan Nav Bhatia Foundation to build washroom facilities and more for girls that helps them to stay in school longer, further their education and keep them safe from harm.
When educated girls have children of their own, their children are twice as likely to survive beyond the age of five.
With your generous support, we can build more than just washrooms—we can help girls build better futures today and for years to come.
