Violence in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Israel is escalating with conflict threatening to spread across the region and beyond.
Children and families are caught up in the conflict, with tens of thousands killed, injured or missing and more than 1.5 million people displaced.
"I can’t sleep at night. Pictures and sounds of crying children keep coming up all night," 15-year-old girl in the West Bank
Innocent children and families urgently need support. Families have lost everything due to violence. Children cannot access health care or go to school. There is no place safe for them. You can help those whose lives have been torn apart.
Our teams are on the ground in the West Bank, in Lebanon, in Jordan, in Syria. We are responding to the current crisis – just as we have done so to previous outbreaks of violence. Our local and international staff have decades of experience working in the most difficult contexts.
We will provide essential aid, help vulnerable communities protect their youngsters from any uptick in violence, support parents whose children are suffering emotional distress and mental harm and provide safe places where communities can get help.
