Everyone, everywhere deserves clean water. Yet 663 million people in the world do not have it.
One third of the world’s population, 2.4 billion people, lack access to proper sanitation and every day nearly 1000 children under 5 die because of a combination of poor water, inadequate sanitation and lack of hygiene. We can change this.
World Vision is working with the government of Rwanda and local partners to provide lasting clean water to 1 million people in 2,000 communities in Rwanda. World Vision staff along with community health workers are teaching communities the importance of having household sanitation facilities, and the need for healthy hygiene practices.
We need your support today. Please join us in providing clean water to desperate families in Rwanda.
Your gifts – offering brighter futures
Thanks to your ongoing generosity and the support of partners such as the government and gifts-in-kind partners, we are offering brighter futures for children everywhere we work.
